  • 28 bachelor suites and 2 one-bedroom suites, all with four-piece bathrooms.
  • Library and lounge area where residents can meet with friends, watch television, play games, and celebrate special events.
  • All suites are fully furnished.
  • Weekly housekeeping services and laundering of bedding and towels are included (Residents do their own laundry for clothing – if they require Dom Lipa to do laundry for them it is an extra $40/month).
  • Coin-operated laundry facilities.
  • Mail is delivered directly to residents’ rooms.
  • 3 meals a day, snacks available throughout the day. Residents are welcome to have a mini fridge in their room for small grocery items and drinks.
  • Hairdressing services and a tuck shop on-site for residents. (Prices vary)
  • Moya Financial Credit Union Limited also provides regular banking services.
  • Medication administration and 24-hour emergency assistance. Additional care and personal support services are available through Home and Community Care Support Services: 905-855-9090.
  • Pets, cooking, and candles are not allowed in suites.
  • Slovenian mass in our chapel.
  • A variety of social and recreational activities are offered.
  • Residents are also welcome to participate in the Residents’ Council, which meets regularly to plan and suggest interesting new activities.

LTC (Long Term Care)

  • 66-bed long-term care home is air-conditioned and smoke-free.
  • We offer private (17), semi-private (24), and basic (26) ward accommodations suited to individual care needs.
  • 1 to 6 PSW to resident ratio
  • Each resident home area also has a resident dining room, family room, and activity lounge for family visits.
  • Housekeeping and laundry services are provided.
  • Residents are encouraged to bring their personal belongings, such as artwork and plants to decorate their rooms.
  • Medical and nursing services include 3 attending physicians and 24-hour nursing care, as well as a consulting dietician and physiotherapist. Referrals can also be made to outside specialists such as dentists, ophthalmologists, and podiatrists.
  • 3 meals a day plus snacks/nourishment throughout the day.
  • Slovenian mass in our chapel.
  • Hair salon on-site for residents. (Prices vary)
  • A variety of social and recreational activities and programs are provided.
  • Residents are also welcome to participate in the Residents’ Council, which meets regularly to plan and suggest interesting new activities. Family members are encouraged to join and participate in our Family Council
