ATTRACTIVE, MODERN SUITES

Dom Lipa Independent Living Retirement Residence offers a friendly, home-like atmosphere and lifestyle. Our attractive, modern building has 28 bachelor suites and 2 one bedroom suites, all with four-piece bathrooms. In addition, there is a library and a comfortable lounge area where residents can meet with friends, watch television, play games, and celebrate special events.

All suites are furnished. Residents are encouraged to bring their own personal belongings, such as pictures and plants to decorate their suites. Weekly housekeeping services and laundering of bedding and towels is included. Mail is delivered directly to residents' rooms.
 

NUTRITIOUS MEALS

Residents are provided with European cuisine, which is adapted to individual dietary requirements. An assortment of snacks and beverages are also available throughout the day. Visitors are welcome to purchase a meal ticket and enjoy a meal in the dining room. Please view our Dom LIpa Menu Plan.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Coin-operated laundry facilities are provided, however, residents have the option of having their personal laundry cleaned in-house for a fee. There is a beauty salon/barbershop and a tuck shop on site for residents. Moya Financial Credit Union Limited also provides regular banking services.

Dom Lipa provides medication administration and  24 hour emergency assistance. Additional care and personal support services available through Home and Community Care Mississauga Halton LHIN 905-855-9090.

SAFETY

Dom Lipa is a smoke-free environment. Pets, cooking, and candles are not allowed in suites.

SPIRITUAL ATMOSPHERE

Our Chapel is open to everyone and Slovenian Mass is held daily. The Priest who performs Mass is also available for counseling and spiritual guidance.

ACTIVITIES

Residents are encouraged to participate in variety of social and recreational activities and programs provided at Dom Lipa. Activities and programs range from table games and pet therapy visits to organized day outings. Day trips include attending special events, shopping, etc.

Residents are also welcome to participate in the Residents' Council, which meets regularly to plan and suggest interesting new activities.
